Great Lakes Consortium celebrates 20 years

Great Lakes Consortium for International Training & Development celebrated 20 years of forging worldwide partnerships with an event at the Inverness Club of Toledo on April 23, 2019. The event, titled “Inspiring International Connections,” recognized the achievements of the consortium in supporting intercultural, international programs that have brought more than 1,400 international guests from 20 different countries to northwest Ohio for training and development. The consortium has also sent more than 1,000 Americans overseas for programs throughout its history.…

Great Lakes Community Action Partnership’s Meals on Wheels program continues to thrive because of the support from the United Way of Sandusky County, local volunteers and the community. In 2018, 386 homebound seniors in Sandusky County received home-delivered meals through Meals on Wheels.
