Who We Are
GLCAP is one of more than 1,000 community action agencies throughout the United States. We serve the northwest Ohio region with programs that include no-cost preschool for eligible families through Head Start; utility assistance for those who need help with energy bills; financial literacy education for people looking to get ahead; and much more. Where We Are
GLCAP's programs primarily serve northwest Ohio. Our core counties include Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood County. However, we do offer programs that extend beyond these counties, such as our Housing Assistance programs, Home Weatherization Assistance Program, and WorkAdvance program. We even offer community development services through our Rural Community Assistance Program in seven different states.
