TRIPS Public Transportation will roll out the use of new ride-scheduling software on July 1.

Made by global logistics firm The Routing Company (TRC), the new Pingo software will be used to schedule TRIPS passengers’ demand-response rides throughout Sandusky County. TRIPS staff appreciate riders' patience as dispatch, drivers, and administrative staff acclimate to the new scheduling software.

Riders may still call 419-332-8091 to schedule rides through TRIPS.

TRIPS provides low-cost general public transportation for Sandusky County residents, offering curb-to-curb service available 5 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 5 a.m.-noon on Saturdays (closed on federal holidays).

More information on TRIPS services is available at www.glcap.org/trips
