The TRIPS Fremont Shuttle will waive its usual $1 per ride fare on Friday, Feb. 20, offering free rides for passengers.

The free Fremont Shuttle rides come at the end of Ohio Loves Transit week, Feb. 16-20, which recognizes the importance of public transportation to Ohio residents and communities.

The Fremont Shuttle stops at 18 locations in Fremont, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Those who haven’t ridden the Fremont Shuttle are encouraged to give the service a try on Friday. A list of shuttle stops and schedule information is available at www.glcap.org/trips. 

TRIPS demand-response rides will still be offered at the low fare of $2-$4 depending on the location of travel within Sandusky County.
