Home-Based Program
One-on-one at-home learning for families with children ages 0-3.
Virtual Home-Based Learning
GLCAP’s Early Head Start Home-Based Program provides at-home learning for children ages 0-3. We believe parents and families are children’s first and most important teachers, and that a child’s home is his or her primary learning environment. We assist parents in creating a positive home environment for their children’s growth and development.
We are now offering weekly virtual home visits and regular virtual playgroups for parents and children to expand educational opportunities for families to enjoy in the comfort of their own homes!
Playgroup sessions cover language development, physical development, nutrition, and other topics. Playgroups are open to all families in our Home-Based program. Join today so we may continue learning together, even when we’re apart!

Learning with GLCAP Early Childhood Programs
Great Lakes Community Action Partnership's Early Childhood Program staff are sharing videos with their students and families who, like many families, are at home due to the coronavirus pandemic. You don't have to be part of our programs to watch with your child at home! Please watch, enjoy and share the talents of our Early Childhood staff with your children and other families to keep your kids learning! (Please note that some of these videos were recorded prior to social distancing measures and stay-at-home orders were in place). View more of our GLCAP videos on our YouTube channel.
