Transit study open house slated for Sept. 11

The results of a transportation resource assessment will be shared during an open house 4-6 p.m., Sept. 11, at North Baltimore Public Library, 230 N. Main St.

The needs-based transit resource assessment was conducted by the Wood County Health Department in partnership with Great Lakes Community Action Partnership’s Mobility Management program. The assessment covers transportation gaps for rural Wood County residents, feedback from focus groups, and opportunities for improving mobility for residents.

“We encourage residents to come and learn more about the results of our study that will help improve transportation access in the county,” Mobility Management Specialist Courtney Curtis said. “The study provides a good starting point for developing better transportation options, especially for rural residents.”

For details on the open house, contact Courtney Curtis at 800-775-9767. More information on Mobility Management is available at www.glcap.org/mobilitymanagement
