Senior Center Celebration to showcase new Senior Campus

The new Sandusky County Senior Campus will be the site of the upcoming Senior Center Celebration and Open House event on Sept. 16.

The event takes place 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the campus, located at 1101 Castalia St., adjacent to the Sandusky County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Tickets are $1 each and can be purchased at the campus, or reserved by calling 419-334-8383. Space is limited; tickets are required to attend.

The celebration includes a meal catered by Ole Zim’s and entertainment by Suella Davis. This year’s Senior Center Celebration is sponsored in part by the Area Office on Aging, Eye Centers of Northwest Ohio, Herman Funeral Homes, ProMedica Golden Threads, Stein Hospice, and Windsor Lane Health Care.

“If you haven’t visited the new Sandusky County Senior Campus yet, the Senior Center Celebration is your chance,” Senior Services Director Robin Richter said.
