No-cost home buyer education course offered through GLCAP

A no-cost home buyer education course will take place Saturday, Feb. 8, 8 a.m.-noon for anyone interested in learning more about the home-buying process.

The course takes place at Great Lakes Community Action Partnership Headquarters, 127 S. Front St., Fremont and is led by GLCAP’s HUD-Certified Housing Counselor Corey Manns.

“Our course aims to take away some of the stresses of buying a home by helping participants become better educated and more familiar with the steps involved in purchasing and owning a home,” Manns said.

Course topics include homeownership readiness and affordability; money and credit management; insurance basics; mortgaging and more.
