Nelsonville, OH New Wastewater Treatment Plant

On February 29, after assistance and funding through RCAP, Nelsonville, OH hosted their ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new Wastewater Treatment Plant. Ohio RCAP State Contract Manager, Kurtis Strickland, was present to celebrate and speak about the project funding.

The project was 64% grant funded, through USDA, OWDA, and ARC. The Ohio Public Works Commission also contributed a $374,000 loan enhancement grant used to pay for interest accrued during construction.
