Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) in partnership with Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) has announced the grand opening of Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) services to assist Fremont-area residents with financial and employment needs. The announcement took place during an Aug. 25 virtual news conference hosted by GLCAP and LISC.
Full tuition funding is now available for eligible students interested in pursuing a career in the marine trades. The Marine Services Technician Apprenticeship Program through Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP) provides classroom and hands-on experience in marine industry skills that lead students to a state-certified apprenticeship credential upon completion of the course.
