After School Programs
GLCAP Afterschool programs provide academic and other support for students and families in the Fremont and Clyde-Green Springs area by offering a safe and educational environment for students after the school day ends. The after-school program seeks to significantly expand learning opportunities for children and youth, and increase student achievement in reading and math.
Programs include:
- Homework and tutoring
- Nutrition, health and safety education
- Recreation including field trips, arts, crafts, technological and cultural programming
- Community service and career development
- Parent engagement
- Meals and snacks

Eligibility Guidelines
Afterschool programs are available for students who are performing below proficiency in math or reading achievement tests; are eligible for free or reduced student lunches; or are disabled or have limited English proficiency. All students are encouraged to apply.

GLCAP offers infant and toddler care through Early Head Start, which provides multiple no-cost options for families who are seeking quality childcare.

Preschool and Childcare
No-cost and low-cost center-based and home-based learning options through Head Start to prepare children for kindergarten by providing quality education.
