The Fostoria YouthBuild program is hosting an open house Thursday, Feb. 11, 4-6 p.m. at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St.
Anyone who is interested in learning about YouthBuild, meeting career coaches, and enrolling in the program is encouraged to attend. YouthBuild offers opportunities for youth who want to earn their GEDs, learn construction skills, and earn money while taking part in the program. The program is open to Fostoria and Seneca County young adults ages 16-24.
“YouthBuild is ideal for anyone who wants to complete their high school education, develop skills to help attain employment, and get paid while learning,” Fostoria YouthBuild Career Coach John Page said. “We encourage anyone who wants to know more about the program to visit us Thursday and learn what YouthBuild is all about.”
Fostoria YouthBuild is a program of Great Lakes Community Action Partnership and is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor. For more information, visit www.glcap.org/youthbuild or call 419-324-5909.
