Help is now available for Sandusky County residents in need of mortgage assistance.
Great Lakes Community Action Partnership (GLCAP)’s Financial Opportunity Center (FOC) is offering up to $3,000 in assistance for past-due mortgage or property tax payments for Sandusky County residents affected by missed work or lost income due to Covid-19. Assistance is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“We encourage anyone who is in need of assistance to contact us and see how we can help,” GLCAP FOC Specialist Corey Manns said. “Obtaining immediate mortgage or tax help can prevent a foreclosure or other repercussions due to missed payments, so it is important that anyone in need of these services reach out sooner than later.”
To be eligible, residents must reside in Sandusky County and be at or below 200 percent of federal poverty guidelines (e.g. $4,367 per month for a family of four).
Details are available by contacting Corey Manns at 419-333-6051 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. More information on the GLCAP FOC is available at www.glcap.org/foc.
