Fostoria YouthBuild open house set for Jan. 30

Fostoria YouthBuild will host an open house Jan. 30, 4-6 p.m. at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St.

The open house will be an opportunity for youth who want to earn their GED, learn construction skills, and earn money through the Fostoria YouthBuild program to learn more about what the program offers. The program is open to young adults ages 18-24, but those who may have a friend or relative who might be a good fit for the program are encouraged to attend as well.

“We invite anyone who is interested to come and learn more about Fostoria YouthBuild,” Fostoria YouthBuild Career Coach John Page said. “Whether you are a young adult who wants to join the program, or are a mom, dad, grandparent or friend of someone who needs an opportunity like YouthBuild, please feel free to stop in.”

Snacks and drinks will be available at the open house.

Fostoria YouthBuild is a program of Great Lakes Community Action Partnership and is funded through the U.S. Department of Labor. For more information, visit or call 419-324-5909.
