March 31 is the final day for emergency utility assistance through Great Lakes Community Action Partnership’s Emergency Home Energy Assistance Program (EHEAP) for the 2020-2021 winter season.
EHEAP provides emergency financial assistance for Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca and Wood County residents who are at risk of a utility shut-off and are at or below 175 percent of the federal poverty level (e.g. $45,062.50/family of four). EHEAP can also help households purchase wood, kerosene, propane, or other bulk fuel supplies.
Scheduling and details on both HEAP and EHEAP are available online at www.glcap.org/winterheating or by calling 567-432-5046.
