Fostoria YouthBuild will host an open house Jan. 30, 4-6 p.m. at the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St. The open house will be an opportunity for youth who want to earn their GED, learn construction skills, and earn money through the Fostoria YouthBuild program to learn more about what the program offers. Great Lakes Community Action Partnership’s Fostoria YouthBuild program welcomes aboard Kevin Lehr as the construction supervisor for the program. Lehr will supervise YouthBuild participants who will be remodeling residences in Fostoria as part of their training through the program. Fostoria YouthBuild program is open to young adults ages 18-24 who reside in the City of Fostoria. A first cohort of students is planned to begin in December.
