Industrial automation program prepares students for advanced tech careers

Mechatronics students ready for work

Skilled trades careers are in high demand. Northwest Ohio employers are typically eager to find qualified employees to fill available positions in plant maintenance and other skilled fields. The students who recently earned certification in Mechatronics can attest to this. These students, who took part in a Dec. 18, 2017 certification ceremony at the Advanced Manufacturing Training Center at the University of Toledo Scott Park, have had great success transitioning into the workforce. Of the ten students who earned certification in the course, nine already have secured employment.
